I would give this shop zero stars if i could, i brought my daughter to the boxing days sales for 8 oclock as it was stipulated that this was the time that it opened. After an hour of waiting for it to open at 9 the staff were so un helpfull especially the manager, my daughter showed him the picture of the top she had her heart set on and he directed her to a total different top, after explaining this was not what she had showed him he just said he didnt know then. Very poor staff with no customer relations skills. Will never visit JD Sports again. Not the cheapest place but your staff are well below par and the manager needs disciplinary proceedings taken against him. So poor and my daughter was in tears. Very bad experience
Would honestly give no stars if I could. I hate to complain but as I've looked at the reviews I notice a lot are complaining about the same thing so think it needs sorting! I went to return a top today, you could tell the young lady with blonde hair didn't no what she was doing. She went into the back to get someone higher up I presume(had bras older than her) so as the que is filling up the woman with short hair who appeared from the back turned around and said I can't return it as it stunk of weed.. Infront of a huge que, even the curly haired guy behind the till looked at her in shock as if to say has she just said that, think the manager needs a sturn talking to her. Really felt half and my anxiety was kicking in. I haven't smoked for over 4 years now so the smell wasn't coming from me. Absolutely arrogant and clearly didn't like the job she was doing. This was at the JD at Springs LS15 and I wouldn't advice on going there. Me and my partner have both had issues in the past and this is my last straw. Spent thousands on there this last couple of month but will take my purchases elsewhere and try Footsylem. After all that I went to the JD at Seacroft tesco and had a lovely lady who yet again struggled with the return procedure but helped me massively and managed to do it without any complaints. Don't advice anyone going to the Springs JD. Unhappy staff on minimum wage that need to find themselves a new job instead of taking there frustrations out on the customers.
was deciding on a pair of shoes and the male worker with long-ish brown hair came over to watch us and waited for us to walk over to the tills and pay, Many workers were watching us the whole time we was in the shop and we felt judged. Absolutely disgraceful and not the shopping experience we were hoping for.
Terrible customer service. I spoke to the manager about an item I purchased. The manager became stressed, started shouting at me, and got aggressive. He definitely needs training and shouldn’t be working in that role if that’s how he speaks to customers. The manager had a slim build and a bald head, so if you’re ever visiting that JD, avoid it at all costs.
I was returning a small Berghaus Jaxket and was thrilled when saw a medium in store to exchange with. (A Xmas present for my son from his elderly Grandparents) Was told immediately as online could not exchange, only refund and I would have to buy again, I explained that would be no good as Grandparents elderly, live away and did not have their card to purchase again. I asked for gift vouchers so could do it that way. There was no way any of the staff there were going to help me to make this happen, asked for the Store Manager who looked aggressive before he started speaking and offered me no solution, I said can you do it just the once with the circumstances and elderly people and NO WAY. He then accused me of throwing the jacket at the assistance when all I did was place it on the counter and say I will have a refund then. The refund took 2 tils and the. Team member TG who would not give her name a call To Head Office to do the refund and a manual receipt for me, which I am notconfident the money will go back in, also waited In store over 20 minutes and No apology for this !!! Never been made to feel so unwelcome and being treated so badly after I have spent thousands in JD over the years with 3 grown up sons for whom I have bought from there for the last 20 years ! Staff and Manager so rude and very very unhelpful, do not visit this store especially if you need any help at all, worst customer service I have ever had in my life !!!!!!
