Little Edstone Holiday Cottages

What a lovely place, having spent a weekend recently at the cottages on a family get together. The cottages are well equipped, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners were very helpful at giving advice and pointing us in the right direction to a local caterer. We made use of the gym and pool on site and the kids loved it, especially been so close to the stables with the horses and goats, and seeing the chickens. It's a great place to stay for exploring North Yorkshire, lots of walks nearby and close to the local Market towns. We had a great weekend, would definitely stay here again. Anyone who has booked here will not be disappointed.

Lovely stay in the West Wing lots of space & well equipped. Attic room so spacious and adds an extra bit of privacy if sharing with others. Open fire was enjoyable in the evening although the house was super warm without it. Children loved seeing the animals and the pool was a great size for them. Peter was really helpful recommend a great pub the Fox & Hound Sinnington - really good food! Also the local train times and some info about York Our last day the owners very accommodating regarding a late leaving time and use of the pool before we left. None of us wanted to leave and we hope we will be able to return soon :)

A lovely rural cottage location with a adjacent indoor swimming pool, gym and sauna. The Cottage is very comfortable, spacious and well appointed with every amenity and a welcome pack. Convenient for the steam railway in Pickering, great walks and a trip across the moors to Whitby, Robin Hood Bay and various historic and NT sites.

We have just spent a lovely peaceful weekend in West end cottage. What a beautiful,tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean cottage! Has so many homely touches and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more. We will be highly recommending it to family and friends and hope to return in the summer, although the colder weather makes the log fires all the more appealing. The whole cottage was lovely and warm even without the fire on. We found it very pleasant to arrive to a fire lit,so cosy! The pool area is lovely although we didn't use it as we had our puppy with us. There is always fresh free range delicious eggs available as well as the most tasty Jam ever 😊 plus cakes and lots more.

Just back from a weeks stay in the cottage with our 13 & 16 year old and our 5 month old puppy. The cottage and facilities (Pool, gyms& sauna) were fantastic, cosy wood burner and immaculate with all the equipment required. Really handy having a downstairs bathroom to clean the puppy after trips out. Excellent location for visiting the coast and the local area. Would definitely recommend this place with great hosts Richard and Janette.
