I very rarely leave poor reviews, but our experience with this dealership has been simply horrific — verging on insulting to our intelligence. We initially visited the local Land Rover garage because of a significant leak from the windscreen, which flooded the footwell — a well-known problem with these vehicles. When we tried to book the car in, we were told we’d need to pay a diagnostic fee, even though the issue was clearly visible (you could lift the windscreen and see the missing sealant). After some discussion, they agreed to book it in without the fee — fair enough. The dealership had the vehicle for nearly eight weeks due to “parts being out of stock,” despite claiming they had never encountered this issue before. Anyone familiar with Land Rover or Jaguar knows this has been a recurring issue for years. During those eight weeks, we were never updated. My wife had to call repeatedly to chase progress, and we had to manage without our second car for most of that time — not easy with two young children under four. When the car was finally returned, we immediately noticed the heads-up display was no longer working properly. Despite cleaning the screen thoroughly, all that could be seen was a blurred smudge rather than the clear display we’d always had. We contacted the dealership straight away and were told, “Bring it down whenever, and we’ll take a look.” I would like to stress, I loved this facility within the I-pace, It absolutely was not like this before the windscreen replacement. Due to the inconvenience we’d already suffered, it was several weeks before we could return. When we called to arrange the visit, we were again told we’d need to pay a diagnostic fee. After further discussion, they agreed to inspect it and only charge us if the fault was unrelated to the windscreen replacement. When speaking with a manager, it was clear the intent was to deflect any responsibility before even seeing the vehicle. We were told, unbelievably, that “these displays can just degrade over time.” According to them, the heads-up display on a four-year-old Jaguar I-Pace “just degrades.” That is absurd. We have now been informed that the windscreen glass has “crystallised” and needs to be replaced at a cost of over £2,000. Glass does not simply “crystallise.” It’s evident that a contaminant or fault during the replacement caused the issue — the screen was crystal clear before the work, and immediately afterwards it wasn’t. Suggesting that glass spontaneously changes its properties is frankly an insult to our intelligence. While I appreciate the windscreen replacement was done under goodwill, that goodwill means very little if it results in further damage and a costly repair. The dealership will have already been paid by Land Rover/Jaguar for the original work — a job that addressed a known manufacturing defect — and now seems unwilling to accept the consequences of their own workmanship. My advice: avoid this dealership at all costs. The entire experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and disappointing. I’ve owned numerous Land Rovers over the years — from Defenders to Range Rovers — and this is by far the worst service I’ve ever encountered. Here, the customer is wrong until proven right.

I recently brought in my 2021 I-PACE for its RA service and MOT. Overall, the staff were reasonably friendly and maintained good communication throughout the process. The service itself took the full day, which felt a little longer than expected, and I wonder if this could be improved in future. Unfortunately, the car failed its MOT due to a nail in the tyre. I was given limited time and few options to explore alternatives, which made it feel a bit rushed. That said, I appreciated that the team were able to offer a reasonably priced replacement and managed to fit the car back in the following day, which was helpful. Thank you for your support—I’d be happy to return but would value a bit more flexibility and communication around unexpected issues like MOT failures in the future

I would rate my recent visit to Vertu Jaguar Guiseley a full 10 out of 10. The entire MOT process ran like clockwork from start to finish. Pre-booking online was quick and straightforward, and on the day I was able to drop my keys off with ease. Communication throughout was excellent and reassuring, and the work was completed promptly and efficiently. When I returned to collect the car, I was offered a coffee and had a friendly, relaxed chat with the staff, including a senior member of the team whom I’ve come to know through using this branch for previous work. That personal touch really makes a difference and reinforces the confidence I have in this service centre. My car is on a service plan with this garage, and I genuinely could not be happier with the way I am looked after. Professional, efficient, welcoming, and well organised, an excellent experience all round and one I would happily recommend.

Extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received. Booked my car in for work. No contact for 24 hours. Call them next morning for an update. From the hours of 08.45 to 16.15 i made 6 phone calls and no update. Extremely frustrated being ignored and the rude behaviour by the customer care. The car still not fixed, in fact car come out worse than what it was. I hope Vertu jaguar Guiseley take this feedback seriously and improve their customer care.

Couldn't do enough for me when I was buying the car. The first time there was a problem, where the heat plate fell of the car, I informed the company what had happened and that I needed a new heat plate. They booked the car in 4 days later and informed me I needed a new heat plate which would not be in until the next day. I rang the following day and was told I would get a call back, to which 2 hours later I didn't receive, so I rang them back to be told because it is a Saturday, the service department closes at 1pm. At no point did anyone inform me of this. I then had to ring back today to be told I would get a call back, again, this didn't happen. I had to call them. They informed me they were still waiting for the heat plate. I am a carer for my mother and father and not only did I have to pay for a mechanic to come out to take the heat plate off at the service station, I have now had to pay out for taxis. Very disappointed in the lack of communication from this company.
