We always stay here, if possible, when going to an event at Holmfirth picturedrome. £8 each way ina taxi, rooms are almost luxurious, very comfortable bed and so quiet. Fantastic breakfast as well.

Stayed here Saturday and Sunday nights in May and were in the first room on the left in the entrance hall. Bed and facilities were great, tho' the window could use a curtain across the reveal as the blind lets a lot of light into the room (This occurred to us when we got home). Breakfast was excellent especially the Eggs Benedict. Location has views across the Holme valley and is a bit remote with narrow, challenging roads (taxi driver got lost!). We decided that the best route to the heart of Holmfirth was White Gate Road/Hill House Road/Brow Lane/Cemetery Lane/Rotcher Road. Would love to stay again when we visit Yorkshire Sculpture Park, which is closed on Mondays, Doh!

We were camping up the road and called to see if we could book breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were welcomed in a really warm, friendly manner into a gorgeous open plan kitchen/dining area. It was so homely and a nice touch to be able to see your breakfast being cooked. Breakfast itself was stunning. The bacon was exceptional. The balcony overlooking Holmfirth is beautiful and it was lovely to watch the little lambs running around. I cant praise this place enough. We'll be back x
