Excellent ! , - many thanks!! . Great to find a locals caring happily busy cafe open of a Sunday morning by 8.30 a.m, as one sought out a cafe and coffee. ... And kind busy staff getting on a team caring way. Nice cuppa and nice bacon in sandwich. many thanks and I would definitely call by again if arriving at Halifax Station and looking for a quick cuppa and a bite to eat and bacon sandwich or the like.
Coming up the North to see family and we all meet up to go for a breakfast as this was not to far away from where we was staying soon as we come in was really friendly with great manners the drinks come nice and quiet just within 5 mins the food was here 😊 all cooked and nice just one bit I was not to happy with was the omelette as was so much oil and was way to much cheese in it as it was all the pain the oven but everything else was great 👍
Sunday morning, with the Imperial Crown Hotel having no cooked breakfast for me and trying to pass off a wee box of shreddies as a meal, I found myself at The Shay Cafe. Ordered a Bacon and Egg barm and a strong black coffee. What I got two minutes later was a massive, delicious and done just right bacon and egg barm and a very strong black coffee, served with a smile that considerably brightened up my day. The cafe was busy at 0800 on a Sunday morning, tells you all you need to know. Top scran.
First time back in a long while. Great breakfast at an excellent price. Worth a go if you haven't been before.
As in the area popped in for breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised large breakfast as pictured £7.00 was cooked fresh and everything was hot unlike a lot of cafes. Sausage budget however was edible. I would visit again if in area
