Although this branch is chronically understaffed, you can see the staff are working relentlessly to get to each person promptly. I visited on the 12th January 2026 and again on 19th January 2026. On both occasions the queues were extremely long and only one member of staff on the counter who sees to the self service machines and one behind the glass screen. I would just like to thank the staff for all their hard work and to not be disheartened by the abuse hurled at them. I would just like to add the professionalism of one lady in particular behind the screen. On the 12th January 2026, the black haired lady remained calm and professional whilst being hurled with racial slur. Although no one stepped in to remove the customer she handled herself very well. I am not sure of her name but she is a tall Asian lady with dark hair. Unfortunately the same lady was hurled with abuse again multiple times on my second visit, to which she remained calm and professional. A real credit to the Post Office and I hope this is relayed back to her.
very bad, lots of people, and only one employee works at the post office. I sent money via Western Union, asked to send money in euros, and she sent it in local currency. When I came back and asked why she sent the money not in euros, she just smiled, she found it funny.
If you have any alternatives to using this branch, I recommend using them. It's chronically understaffed to the point that I went in this morning to collect two parcels, only to be confronted by "Due To Unforeseen Circumstances" signs stating that the post office is closed for the next four days. It's not fit for purpose.
Always a queue no matter what time you go.usually only one member of staff one who are all miserable apart from one guy I think his name is Luke who usually has a smile.i prefer to use the self service when they are working!there's three self service but they are usually out of order too !not impressed
Went last Friday to renew my driving licence but their smart tablet and system not working. They advised me to go huddersfield
