Well worth the 2.5 hours trip! Lee and Sam - amazing guys and very knowledgeable. I had the dreaded P200200 (egr cooler) and ad blue error on my Audi Q5. After being quoted silly £££ for an egr cooler replacement locally. I found S A Motors Tuning through social media with other car users having similar issues. I messaged Lee on a Sunday, he got back to me the very same day! The car was booked in the following week and the issue resolved. The car feels more lively (went with also a remap for the increased torque), no more EML light and better MPG. Prices are very reasonable . Nice office and unit to wait in or you can walk up into the local town (25 min walk). Having been in the trade previously, speaking to these guys they know their stuff. All the postive reivews back this up. I am willing to travel the 2.5 hours for them to work on my car. I wish I had known about them previously. I will be revisting for my gearbox service.

Booked in with Lee for a stage 1 tune on the van, nice bloke, friendly and approachable, talked me through what was going to be done to the van, afterwards, he explained what had been done and what he had found with the van. Affordable price, and van had no issues on the journey home. I'd have no consideration in using them again for further work.

Took my T5 to S A Motors after having an issue that 2 local 'specialists' had already looked at and failed to sort. Found Lee on socials and made a 3 hour round trip to take the van to him, after reading his reviews and seeing his videos I felt confident he knew what he was doing. He found the issue and resolved it quickly, van feels amazing to drive now! So happy I came across him, just wish I would have discovered his garage sooner before wasting my time with the others. Lee, Sam, and the younger chap are exactly how every garage should be: friendly, honest, and great at keeping you informed. Audi quoted me nearly £2,500 for work on the egr cooler on my 2019 Audi A4 2.0 TDI, but after speaking to Lee I drove two and a half hours to SA Motors — and I’m so glad I did. They confidently got on with the work, resolved all my issues, replaced a few service items on my request, and even spotted a leaking water pump with video evidence. I’ve since driven almost 1,000 problem-free miles, and the car feels better than ever. Top garage, top communication, top people — highly recommended for anyone with a VAG group car.

Couldnt ask for a better service, dropped off my TFSI caddy for some needed maintenance and a TMG virtual cockpit with is absolutely mega!! was kept updated through out the day and advised me on other bits to look at too, top set of guys with love for what they do, will be bringing all future back here 👌
