West Mount Vets - Halifax

Unbelievably kind and compassionate out of hours service for our family dog who despite all their amazing efforts couldn’t be saved. The kindness and consideration of Helen (the greatest vet alive) towards our teenage daughter was so appreciated. We came away with paw prints on a card, some of his hair and all the cremation details were completed as a family. The total costs were more than acceptable and as a family we can’t thank you enough. Highly recommend this practice the difference they made on the day cannot be measured. ❤️

West Mount Vets Halifax ( Pellon Lane) is by far the best veterinary practice. I have been a customer for over 20+ years and have never been let down. All the staff go above and beyond to help you despite if it's just a routine check up, life saving treatment or your final goodbye the staff are wonderful in all situations. Helen ( Vet) is I'll admit my favourite but I think that's because we've seen her the most over the years she's like that warm cozy jumper you seek out when poorly, cozy constant,reliable and comforting. All staff go above and beyond. My young pup Winston has just recently had to fight for his life due to toxic poisoning, due to their care and dedication Winston is now continuing his recovery at home with us. Had Winston had a different outcome I would still have given this review because they tried everything and not once gave up on him.

Visited today, which was not a happy visit but the care we received in the practice was brilliant. Our young cat was brought in after being hit by a car. He was seriously injured. All of the staff who saw us were so kind and understanding, there was one lady (who's name I did not get) who talked us through everything, gave us all of our options, answered all of our questions and gave us time with our cat. We unfortunately ended up having his put to sleep, which was heartbreaking, however the treatment given to our cat and the care they showed us was great-we really appreciated it.

2 of my fur babies were kept in here last year when they were seriously poorly. The staff there were amazing, they gave them lots of attention, as well as keeping me regularly updated on how they were and what they were doing treatment wise. Even stressed and worried sick I was still reassured that they were in safe hands ❤️

We moved here from Hirds, much prefer West Mount, the staff are very friendly, vets and nurses are kind and supportive.
