Broad Street Plaza

Multi storey car park payment is a joke. I tried to pay by scanning the QR code. it just didn't work. Then the APCOA app that didn't work. I had 8 mins to my first hour . I met 2 other people who also couldn't pay either way. I had to leave my car in a disabled space to walk down to the payment machine. By the time I paid I was into the next hour and another £2.50.

A very sterile hotel, no personality, you could basically turn up pay up automatically and go to your room perhaps you might like that, the breakfast is very generous if you go for the full package but on arrival l was asked for £36 extra because breakfast was not booked and beware this place has no car park so you can park in the multistorey for a £11 per 24 hours but you need to remember to do this every day on an App, l actually wanted to add a couple of extra hours but it wanted me to pay for another 24 hours so you know what l did? Parked in another cheaper car park because l could not work away of booking an extra few hours,so l could go for a meal with friends.

Visited the Vue cinema in this plaza.It was very quiet Sunday evening but felt reasonably safe walking back to my car in the evening, obviously be aware of your surroundings.Plaza was well lit.Car parking nearby,don't forget to pay for street parking, the meter men where on patrol till 8pm. Sadly a few units have closed but a number of eateries and a gymn also.

Beautifully decorated, but a missed opportunity. There's not much here to write about. It’s a plaza that’s host to a Cinema (Vue), a gym (Pure Gym) and a few food places (Nandos, TGI Fridays and a few others). But overall a missed opportunity as far as Plazas go and what they could have done with it. It is well constructed and nice on the eyes. And looks really nice during holidays (such as Christmas). 😊

A nice plaza full with restaurants, Gyms, the Vue cinema and a hotel. Its really close to town and good connections to the bus station. I like this place.
