Craken House Farm

Top notch campsite. Richard is super nice and friendly. Lovely, peaceful location with great views across Wendsleydale. Shower was very hot and free and clean. Washing up room kept clean and tidy with soap provided. Washer dryer for £2.50.

Fantastic site and host. Richard greeted us both by name, gave us a tour of the fantastic facilities and gave us a choice of pitch to suit our needs. A quick walk to Leyburn town centre and a lovely curry on Richard's recommendation made this the prefect stay. Highly recommended.

We stayed for three nights in our motorhome. Richard gave us a warm welcome and helped us park up. Lovely site, beautifully maintained, and all the facilities top class. Easy walk to Leyburn with all the amenities you would expect, shops, pubs, public transport. Would recommend the Bistro at Tennants Auction House for lunch, Lovely surroundings, good and service. We'll definitely be back!!

Craken House Farm is a delight. Richard greets you and tours you round the site. You are made to feel welcome and appreciated. The caravaning and camping pitches are set in well maintained grounds overlooking beautiful views of Middleton and the moor. The facilities are clean modern and well looked after. First rate all round. The micro brewery nearby is well worth a visit. Overall : A great base to explore the Dales.

Stayed at Cracken House Farm campsite and can honestly say it is one of the best sites I have stayed on . Beautiful site with great views , large pitches with picnic tables, toilet and shower facilities were spotless and Richard was so helpful and friendly . Leyburn is only 15 minutes walk for pubs, shops etc Perfect 👌
