Sam Turner and Sons - Leyburn

Do not use! I run a garden/landscaping company. After spending several thousand pounds with Sam turners on garden machinery, their customer service and attitude is quite honestly appalling. For example we recently purchased a Husqvarna cultivator of them for a sum of £1250. Unfortunately the machine was faulty ( manufacture issue ) after contacting Sam Turners they weren’t interested in helping to get the machine fixed under warranty, instead trying to convince me to take it elsewhere. Tuck over 5 days to get a response back over email, which is quite frankly awful whilst we have a machine out of action. The problems could have been fixed and solved alone in the time it takes to get a response.I also purchased a Honda Mower early in the year which had a miss firing engine. On this occasion sam turners were willing to help a little more, they arranged for a collection of the mower. However over a week went by with me calling to check progress etc and been left constantly in the dark. Finally I was re assured the mower is running fine. Therefore I agreed to take re delivery of the mower. Once again Sam turners impressively manage to delivery the mower back to another address. Not where the original order and pick up we’re assigned from again leaving me without the mower for an extended period of time. I’ve also since taken the mower to a local workshop which have detected problems within the engine. Quite frankly an awful business…I’m only writing this review because if your planning to buy any gear of them I wouldn’t! There’s lots of options out there to get the same equipment so just bare in mind if you have any problems sam turners will not be helpful.

Went for a shovel handle, £5.70 on price sticker then wanted to charge nearly £7 at till. Will go elsewhere in future.

Repeatedly failed to deliver a missing piece of an order despite repeated phone calls. Item unusable and no one willing to help. Awful service.

Really helpful staff - if they haven't got what you want they'll try and source it from another Sam Turners.
