Cross House Lodge

Stayed for two nights at the Cross House Lodge accommodation was wonderful however was very disappointed with the breakfast was hoping for good things after having an amazing tasting menu the night before at the Star Inn. Had the Bacon sandwich and was really flabbergasted that a quality establishment could serve a very greasy and overcooked bacon sandwich! Gave the benefit of the doubt however on the second morning ordered scrambled eggs and bacon again overcooked but also the eggs were very salty, not what you would expect

This is the accommodation for the Star at Harome. It's just across the road. The rooms in the old building where we stayed were very clean and comfortable but also quirky. It's worthwhile to view the rooms online before booking. Breakfast was good though 50/50 self service. No confit for the muesli only jam. Friendly staff who were very efficient with the evening meal. The evening meal at the Star was perfect including the verbal description of the food as it was served. Everything looked and tasted delicious. See

The staff and surroundings at this place was lovely, we stayed here as we were dining at The Star Inn, they also had a bar area with a lovely open fireplace. We stayed and had breakfast in the wheel house which is stunning. Would love to go back, the room we stayed in was the smallest however still beautiful and quirky, more than enough room, the bed was really comfy.

Having gotten married here 10 years ago, we decided to go back to celebrate our anniversary and it is still absolutely beautiful! The rooms are gorgeous, the staff go above and beyond. Already planning our next trip!

We got married here, they could not do enough for us when planning and setting up and during the wedding they just got on with it. My wife and I cannot thank the staff there enough, Natasha and Anna sold us a dream, the staff then made it reality. Andrew the owner is still very involved and such a pleasant gent, he took time to meet and greet us when we first came to view, then a year after the wedding we returned and Andrew again took time to chat with us. If you want an intimate wedding then the Cross House Lodge is the place to be. Thank you all.
