Since the restaurant is a buffet, we ordered several dishes to try, including the chicken corn soup, which is really good… and pan fried noodles which the texture is a bit soft and needed some more fireness innit, the shrimp and pork ribs was really good strongly recommend! The red curry beef was alright the beef was served in thin slices which I think it should be thick pieces instead…

We booked a table for 3 choosing somewhere for an all you can eat buffet as we were Out to celebrate a birthday. We were seated and about 20 mins later a ladies came to ask us for our mains order. When we pointed out we hadn’t even been given a menu or offered drinks yet the ladies apologised and said they were busy The restaurant was probably about 75%full. She took out drinks order. We asked for a rose wine and there was only one As it was a birthday we ordered a bottle ( there wasn’t a drinks menu in sight I’d like to add. ) and a coke for myself as I was driving When the drinks came we ordered a mixed starter and kept the menus to order mains after The options were limited but there wasn’t enough to choose from and the food was good when it finally arrived. We did have to point out that some dishes were missing and had to ask 3 times for some forks as they’d taken them after the starters When I went to settle the bill it came to £118 Now to say I was surprised was an under statement. The 3 buffets came to a total of £66 - which meant our bottle of wine and glass of coke came to £54 When I asked to see the drinks menu one of the staff produced a scruffy piece of cardboard with a handwritten cost list for drinks Now I may be from Yorkshire but I don’t mind paying for quality but when we asked about the price the ladies told us it was a very good bottle of wine and that other restaurants in the area sold it for £55 and that they were cheap for this wine. I pointed out that had we been advised of the cost when we ordered then we wouldn’t have bought it she kept insisting that it was a very good wine that cost more elsewhere We said that this should never be the case. What if we couldn’t afford that we should have been advised of the cost when we ordered but were met with the same argument several times that they were cheaper than other restaurants and it was a very good wine It’s a shame. The food when it did turn up was nice and yes the wine was lovely but service here isn’t great and the tactics of drinks prices not being available is underhand It takes minutes to print out a drinks menu and laminate it as they have done with the food menus. Such a shame. And a disappointing evening

Both me and my partner came here for the first time and I must say the food was exceptionally good nice and fresh and the flavours were amazing the only downside to it was the service was a little slow but it was busy so thats just a minor. We will definitely be returning as the staff there are very attentive with a lovely friendly welcome as you arrived. Keep up the good work and we hope to see you in the very near future many thanks.

I visit a few times a year and it never disappoints. The food is delicious. The staff are lovely and polite. It's recently changed hands and the new owners and staff are very hospitable. I look forward to what they do with the place. Would like to wish the previous family all the best in the future also.

Food was delicious all tasted really fresh and came out really fast, also the girls working there were very kind and friendly! Definitely will be going back. Also very cheap for the amount of food you get.
