My client is a notable business within their industry, and is well known for providing top quality training and a great working culture.</p> <p><strong>Description</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist in supporting in the month end management accounts process.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.</li><li>Collaborate with the wider Accounting &amp; Finance team on various projects.</li><li>Assist in processing invoices and managing accounts payable/receivable.</li><li>Understanding detailed elements of revenue to ensure accuracy and completeness of customer billing and recognition of revenue</li><li>Assess, analyse and challenge the business performance</li></ul> <p><strong>Profile</strong></p> <p>A successful Assistant Accountant should have:</p> <ul> <li>Relevant experience in a Progressive Accounts Assistant, or Assistant Accountant role</li><li>Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA is preferred but not essential (Also including Finance graduates with exemptions in ACCA or CIMA)</li><li>Strong numerical and analytical skills.</li><li>Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.</li><li>A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.</li></ul> <p><strong>Job Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>A competitive salary &#163;28,000</li><li>Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days at home)</li><li>Study Support in ACCA, CIMA</li><li>Free parking onsite</li><li>3:00pm Early finish on a Friday</li><li>Permanent position offering long-term stability.</li></ul> <p>This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Accountant seeking to advance their career in Accounting &amp; Finance.</p>
