Health & Safety Cluster Manager - North East

<p><strong>Health and Safety Cluster Advisor </strong></p> <p><strong>Covering Darlington, Harrogate and Sheffield </strong></p> <p><strong>&#163;25K - &#163;40K per annum</strong></p> <p>Our client is seeking a Health &amp; Safety Cluster Advisor to support multiple sites within their network. You will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Provide practical, clear guidance to Senior Management Teams across assigned sites to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, internal policies, and best practice standards</li><li>Support sites in evidencing compliance to external regulatory bodies including the CQC, HIS, HIW, HSE, the Environment Agency, local authorities, and other relevant stakeholders</li><li>Work collaboratively with the Health &amp; Safety Cluster Lead to drive improvements in safety performance, promote consistency, and maintain regulatory compliance across the cluster</li><li>Coordinate attendance and time allocation across designated sites to ensure appropriate Health &amp; Safety presence and oversight</li><li>Assist in the review of incidents, contributing to investigations and ensuring key learning points are communicated and embedded</li><li>Contribute to wider organisational initiatives such as policy development, training delivery, research, and continuous improvement projects</li><li>Identify significant or unacceptable risks and escalate appropriately to senior operational leadership, providing proportionate and practical recommendations</li></ul> <p>The ideal candidate will:</p> <ul> <li>Ideally have experience within a healthcare environment with exposure to Health &amp; Safety responsibilities or established experience in a dedicated Health &amp; Safety role.</li><li>Ideally have a Level 3 Health &amp; Safety qualification </li><li>Have professional registration of IOSH (or willingness to work towards professional registration)</li><li>Have fire safety skills</li><li>Be competency in risk assessment</li><li>Have contractor safety management skills</li><li>Have RCA/Incident Investigation skills</li><li>Have experience conducting audits</li></ul> <p>Working hours are 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday – Flexible Shift Pattern.</p> <p>In return the client offers 25 days holiday plus bank holiday which increases to 30 days with service, company pension, private health care, health assessments, gym discounts, life insurance, company discounts and employee recognition programmes. </p> <p><br /></p>
