<strong>*PERMANENT*</strong><br /><br /><strong>Occupational Therapist – ADHD/Autism/Dyslexia/Dyscalculia</strong><br /><strong>Hybrid - On site clincs at HG1 2PW</strong><br /><strong>Salary - £30,000 to £55,000 DOE</strong><br /><br /><strong>Description</strong><br /><br />Service Care Solutions are proud to be recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a purpose-driven neurodevelopmental service transforming autism and ADHD care across the North of England.<br /><br />Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to high-quality diagnostic assessments for children and young people. This hybrid role combines remote developmental history interviews with face-to-face structured observations at clinic bases.<br /><br />Through Service Care Solutions, you’ll join an innovative organisation that embraces digital workflows, smart report-writing tools and a custom-built electronic health record system to reduce admin time and maximise clinical impact. Ongoing training, IT support and a collaborative culture ensure you are fully supported at every stage.<br /><br /><strong>Responsibilities</strong> <ul> <li>Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments</li><li>Complete remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom</li><li>Participate in peer MDT diagnostic discussions, with senior clinical support where required</li><li>Deliver clear, compassionate diagnostic feedback to families</li><li>Produce accurate, high-quality clinical reports and formulations using smart tools</li><li>Meet service KPIs through effective caseload management</li><li>Provide clinical supervision (where applicable)</li><li>Travel to clinic bases for in-person assessments (hybrid roles)<br /><br /></li></ul> <strong>Requirements</strong> <ul> <li>Minimum 1 year’s professional registration with <strong>HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England</strong></li><li><strong>HCPC</strong> – Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist </li><li><strong>NMC</strong> – Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse, General Nurse, Children’s Nurse </li><li><strong>GMC </strong>– Medical Practitioners </li><li><strong>Social Work England</strong> – Social Worker </li><li>At least 1 year’s experience conducting autism and/or ADHD diagnostic assessments in CYP</li><li>Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations</li><li>In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD</li><li>Experience using tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R or equivalent</li><li>Eligibility to work in the UK<br /><br /></li></ul> <strong>How to Apply</strong><br />In return, you’ll receive competitive salary (DOE), annual reviews, pension contributions, 28 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays (and your birthday off), private healthcare, CPD opportunities, supervision and access to a collaborative clinical network.<br /><br />If you’re looking to make a genuine difference in neurodevelopmental care, <strong>Service Care Solutions</strong> would love to hear from you.<br /><br /><strong>Why Join Service Care Solutions?</strong><br />£250 Welcome Bonus<br />• We are offering a Welcome Bonus of £250, paid after completion of 150 hours (or equivalent) in your new placement.<br /><br />Refer a Friend (Earn up to £750 per Referral)<br />• Simply refer your friend.
