<p><strong>Senior Paraplanner</strong></p> <p><strong>Harrogate</strong></p> <p><strong>£50,000 - £60,000 </strong></p> <p><br /></p> <p>NJR Recruitment is working with a highly respected, technically driven UK financial planning firm that is looking to appoint an experienced <strong>Senior Paraplanner</strong> to join its established paraplanning function.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>This is a genuinely senior, hands-on technical role, suited to an experienced paraplanner who enjoys complex planning work and wants to operate at the highest technical level within a professional, adviser-led environment.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>You will play a key role in supporting advisers on complex client cases, producing high-quality, compliant suitability reports and acting as a senior technical reference point across the business.</p> <p>Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Producing detailed suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning</li><li>Carrying out detailed product and fund research</li><li>Preparing cashflow models, projections and technical appendices</li><li>Contributing to the ongoing development of paraplanning processes and templates</li><li>Acting as a senior technical resource for advisers and paraplanners</li><li>Reviewing work produced by junior paraplanners</li><li>Providing coaching, guidance and technical mentoring</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>What do we need from you?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, although those with Level 6 qualifications would be of most interest</li><li>Extensive experience as a paraplanner within a UK IFA firm</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of UK pensions, investments and taxation</li><li>High attention to detail with strong written communication skills</li><li>A genuine long-term interest in paraplanning</li><li>Confident mentoring and supporting junior paraplanners</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>What’s on Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Salary of <strong>£50,000 – £60,000</strong> (depending on experience)</li><li>Very generous bonus structure</li><li><strong>26 days’ holiday + bank holidays</strong></li><li>Death in Service</li><li>Critical Illness Cover</li><li>Supportive, professional and highly technical culture</li><li>Regular company socials and reward-based events</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Why Apply?</strong></p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm where <strong>technical excellence is genuinely valued</strong>, paraplanners are central to client outcomes, and experience is respected.
