Credit Controller
<p>Campbell Grove talent are recruiting for a <strong>Credit Controller</strong> to join a business in Harrogate, who due to expansion are growing their Finance team.</p> <p>This role will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the timely collection of outstanding debts, whilst maintaining strong customer relationships.</p> <p><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring customer accounts are accurate and up to date</li><li>Proactively chase outstanding invoices</li><li>Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts</li><li>Monitor credit limits and assess credit risk for new and existing customers</li><li>Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments</li><li>Resolve customer queries efficiently, liaising with internal departments where necessary</li><li>Produce regular aged debt reports and provide updates to the Finance Manager</li><li>Support month-end processes related to accounts receivable</li><li>Assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc finance duties and reporting as required</li></ul> <p><strong>What we need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Solid, proven experience in a<strong> credit control</strong>/ AR role </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels</li><li>Strong negotiation skills </li><li>Good attention to detail and high level of accuracy</li><li>Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines</li><li>Competent in MS Excel</li></ul> <p><strong>What's on offer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Salary £25,000 - £30,000</li><li>25 days holiday plus bank holidays</li><li>Flexible hours</li><li>Ongoing training and development</li><li>Regular social events</li></ul> <p>For further details please contact Emma Dugdale or Lucy Regan.</p> <p><br /></p>
