Harrogate Post Office

Beware of the manager/postmistress, she tries to charge you for large letters when a normal stamp would suffice. I've posted items myself for 87p after been quoted £1.55 at this post office. Always check the size yourself at the self service tills first. There's a plastic measuring device there to use. Dread to think how many people a day she overcharges.

Dont normally use this branch. All of the self service machines were out of order. The queue was long with only 2 desks open and no foreign exchange service. For a town centre post office this is not acceptable.

I was overly optimistic when visiting on a Saturday afternoon. About a twenty minute wait as there were only two people at the desk and they were faced with a lot of queries, and trying to offer all the PO services. The rating does not reflect the staff, who were fantastic - friendly, professional and diligent, despite the constant queue of customers.

By far the worst customer service I have experienced - staff have zero product knowledge, zero ability to engage in conversation without looking perplexed at every turn and then when you finally get some response it’s completely incorrect information.

No self service machines working. 1 member of staff on. All I wanted to do was post a second class letter. Stood in a queue for over 20mins....what a joke!
