B&Q Harrogate

Visited the store late on Sunday on a mission to upgrade our BBQ. We found the perfect one, I spoke with Jason who assisted us in trying to find one in stock, however the only one they had available was the display model which Jason himself had spent 4.5 hours building! Thank god this was the only one left. The next challenge was getting the giant into the car. Along came Rob and Jason to the rescue. Even at almost 4 o’clock in the afternoon when they should be getting ready to go home these absolute hero’s dug out tools to partially disassemble the thing, then would not give up on us until we had it all packed into the car and couldn’t have been more happy to help. Utter legends, what an absolute credit the store these guys are. Thank you both so much, currently sat with the family happily stuffing our faces with burgers and hotdogs. 🫶

The shop has unlimited ideas for diy home building, it’s a builder/ diy home builder’s dream shop, countless aisles, unlimited options. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Order next day click and collect. On the day told it’ll be 48 hours via email as item picked up by Evri (so I assume it’ll get lost along the way). Called them and operator told us we’ll get a text when it arrives. So thanks for telling us what we already knew and not offering any help or options to cancel

I've always enjoyed coming to this store for my DIY projects. Recently I've noticed the customer service improve even more as staff are super helpful and friendly!

Just moved into the area and have been to this store twice in the last week. On both occasions found the staff very helpful. Jase was very helpful on our first visit sorting out my bbq gas refill as soon as i walked through the door with the empty cannister. On our second visit Dave, Iain and Rob continued the excellent customer service. So helpful and friendly.
