Response to e-consult is very quick, usually the same day and with either a phone call from a doctor or a text message to select an appointment. If the telephone lines are busy And you are say six in the queue the practice operates a ring back service which is excellent. I have had no problems getting an appointment and the service I have received has been 10/10 in every way. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice.

If I could leave no stars I would. Quite simply the worst system and surgery ever used. The staff on reception are rude and obtuse. They take pleasure in ensuring that people get as lower level of care as possible. 3 times in A and E now this year because appointments have been refused or taken months to coordinate. Half the time the phones aren't answered.

Receptionists are unable to put the correct information on record, the inaccurate information they do provide isn’t only inaccurate but the spelling is extremely questionable. Safeguarding is used as a weapon by this surgery. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody whatsoever AVOID. I am not interested in the generic reply of “contact the surgery to discuss this further so we can target you in person and remove vital medication until you agree to utter lies on your record”.

Further to being admitted as an emergency to A & E at local hospital for suspected stroke and having head MRI which showed a cause but thankfully not a full blown stroke. I was asked by my GP and did, take my BP am and pm for 7 days, and had blood tests taken at local hospital blood clinic. I was texted by same GP to complete a medication review, and did today. I was further texted to make an appointment for a telephone pharmacist appointment to discuss statins because GP had instructed their pharmacy to to this with me. I questioned this as I believe any new drug should be prescribed by a GP not a pharmacist. I was told I could refuse the pharmacist consultation but wouldn't be able to see GP about taking statins. I consulted with a Boots pharmacist who said it should be a GP as they know my health profile and risks. It is also stated in professional medical information on line, that pharmacists can only talk about the drugs effects and use for certain conditions, or as part of a medication review. I believe this is negligent and potentially dangerous practice towards me at Strayside Health. A few weeks ago I queried a combined flu Covid vaccination that's been developed and trialed by Moderna, which my 80 year old husband was offered at his GP Practice. I received a text saying no combined vaccination exists, but it does. Is this Practice the most ill informed and lacking in respect for its patients? I'm beginning to think it is.
