At a time when liaising with a GP surgery is near on impossible this practice shines out as exemplary. The systems in place are excellent with an initial triage process which allows simple diagnosis, prescriptions, referrals etc to be handled quickly and efficiently. Leaving the GP’s time for more important/urgent conditions to be seen and prioritised. The practice generally is exceptional and Dr Poskitt shines out going above and beyond. She is incredible - compassionate, patient and caring. She has a straightforward no nonsense approach to prioritising treatment plans then ensuring patients are seen in the system in a timely and appropriate way. She is incredibly knowledgeable (her years of experience are clear to see). On two tricky conditions she has been magnificent, and has managed to treat and resolve these while offering reassurance along the way. I cannot recommend her enough. Too often GP surgeries are criticised but the team at Moss Healthcare are doing a fantastic job. Well done and thank you.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. V. Poskitt and was incredibly impressed. She is, without a doubt, the best GP I've ever seen. Dr. Poskitt is not only brilliant and professional but also exceptionally kind and empathetic. She took the time to listen to my concerns, making me feel genuinely heard and valued. She sorted my problem out with a treatment plan and blood tests and i left feeling hopeful. Her approach is a perfect blend of expertise and compassion, which is exactly what you hope for in a doctor.

As a patient of well over 20 years I hope this practice might find some humility - though my recent experiences suggest that’s a vain hope! So I’ve no doubt this review will result in a a litany of excuses not least we are upgrading our systems and/or we are extremely busy. Let me be clear - this practice has deteriorated year on year exhibiting a combination of ineptitude, rudeness, and all round apathy. There are the occasional beacons of civility and ability evident, but such positives are too oftened drowned by a surfeit of mediocrity at best. Today’s latest episode prompts this overdue review. I have been diagnosed with AF and other related heart issues. Breathlessness has also been a serious issue though tests suggest there is no causal link. A recent chest x ray revealed no issues which means there must be other things going on which need a follow up by the Doctor. No such follow up was offered. This matters because if I was not able to check my results on the NHS app ( many will not have this ) I’d get no feedback at all. So I did as the practice states and tried to book on line . I completed the form only to get a reply saying they needed more information, so stating I need a follow up appointment doesn’t compute! So I added more info - another reply saying they needed more - asking what was it I wanted! I wanted an appointment. I then get a text saying click this link to get an appointment. I click it and it says no appointments! Try later . I try later - no appointments! I try again - no appointments! It then asked me to call for an appointment! So I call today and tried to explain the problems I’d been having, only to be subjected to a short tempered young man interrupting saying ‘I get it’ . He couldn’t get it as I hadn’t finished - so after resisting getting angry and not allowing him to hector me, he says the doctors have reviewed my case and don’t think an appointment is required. Bluntly his attitude stank ! The practice can check the recording and will note at no point was I rude or aggressive. He was - so I asked his name - he refused . I wonder why - though no doubt the practice will hide behind some nonsense about protecting staff etc. As I tried to insist on an appointment he cut me off . As it was 1650 my natural cynicism suggests he wanted rid before closing time. Hence this complaint.

You turned my 93 year old father away from his appointment on Friday because he was 5 minutes late because of the traffic. You have again failed to book his follow up appointments . This is not the first time that the surgery has been poor. I have reluctantly made a complaint but I really want you to call me on Monday to sort things out.

December Update : Having been pretty unhappy, I am pleased to say that with the help of the Operations Manager and Dr Taylor, things have much improved for my father. Thank you. So I just called called Reception as Dr Taylor suggested, trying to sort things out. Apparently neither he nor Dr Reay are available. I couldn't speak to the Operations Manager. Your receptionist put the phone down on me despite my repeated statement that I want to sort things out. What do you suggest next?
