We first took our rescue dog to Sophie in 2024 to get her checked over before starting agility. Since then we take both of our dogs for a monthly hydro session. They both take part in agility and so hydro is great exercise for them and it means that their muscles get a check over which gives us reassurance. We highly recommend Sophie. She is very knowledgeable and is great with our dogs.
Started off with one of our dogs having physio and hydrotherapy, now three more are going just for a swim! Sophie is so good with them all, young and old. We’ve seen a real difference in Skye since starting the treatment and she loves coming.
My cockapoo Harley became seriously ill in January 2023 with Idiopathic Acute Polyradiculoneuritis which lead to Harley being paralysed for over 3 months. As Harley started to recover he commenced Hydrotherapy sessions with Sophie at The Harrogate Vet Physio Hydrotherapy. Previously Harley was not interested in swimming at all but now he absolutely loves swimming in the Hydrotherapy pool. He has become so much stronger and regain his mobility. Huge thank you to Sophie for all your enthusiasm and encouragement with Harley.
Fabulous place. Sophie is a great physio, my dog loves his visits to see her. My puppy loves going for fun swims too!
I decided to schedule a fun swim day for my two shih-tuz’s, I didn’t realize the the work out my dogs would receive by swimming once a week. They’re endurance has improved tremendously, not to mention their confidence when they go to the lake or beach. I have to thank Sophie for all her hard work with my doggies. I highly recommend this place for Physio, as well as fun swim for your dog… most importantly, the pool and the place is extremely organized and clean. Thank you EBR
