The Yorkshire Soap Company - Harrogate

We wandered into what we swore was a very convincing cake shop in Harrogate… purely to settle an ongoing argument about whether it was, in fact, a cake shop or not. Plot twist: it was a soap shop (and a very dangerous one for our wallets). The displays are so realistic they should come with a warning — slices, loaves, and treats that look good enough to eat, but thankfully smell even better. What really made the visit though was the saleswoman, who was absolutely brilliant: incredibly funny, genuinely knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the ethos behind the shop and its products. You could tell she truly loved what she was talking about, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We left with an impressive haul of goodies we’re now slowly (and happily) working our way through — still laughing about how confidently wrong we both were. A proper Harrogate gem: joyful, welcoming, and guaranteed to make you smile (even if you go in just to prove a point). P.s now if that is the soaps the creater makes - my god , his cakes must be out of this world!!!

Lovely soaps that make excellent Christmas gifts. Second year I’ve bought gifts from Yorkshire Soap.

This is an absolutely beautiful shop inside and out !! We had to go inside just from seeing the shop front. When we got in the it was so beautiful the place is so unique and amazingly decorated. You can buy soaps, bath bombs, lotions and bath salts and they even have there own lip balms. We bought some soaps bath bombs and bath salt and its a good price for how much we got and everything smells amazing. You can smell all the fragrances and there is so much too choose from and the staff are so friendly and welcoming such and enjoyable experience all round

i came to Harrogate and into this beautiful shop. The assistant Angie was absolutely amazing, friendly and helped me chose Christmas gifts! Well worth visiting
