House of Josef - Wood End View

We had a lovely stay at Wood End, the house was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped and the furnishings were lovely. From the sofa in the lounge there are some great views over the valley and the town. It is a ten minute walk into town so perfect for exploring Hebden bridge on foot. I would highly recommend

Hebden Bridge is a nice town, many other interesting Yorkshire locations are within easy reach. The house is comfortable and nicely located, parking was no problem at all, "downtown" pubs and shops are just a few minutes away by foot. The house is spacy and well structured, so that the three of us had a good time during our stay. The hosts are helpful and easy to reach. The one little thing we found a bit misleading is that we thought there would be a small terrace or suchlike for sitting outside, but that was not possible.

Lovely house, 10 minute walk up the hill away from Hebden Bridge centre. Clean, light and airy rooms… the view from the lounge and back bedrooms were stunning. All the facilities you could need, washing machine and dishwasher. Confused as to where the terrace was as there is not garden with this property but assumed it’s at the end of this row of terraced houses… where steps led down to the back street, with small terraced on both sides… wasn’t sure which one belonged to the house so didn’t use. Perfect location for hiking!

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped house with a cracking view from the lounge and first floor bedroom - shows off Hebden's unique character well. We also loved the walk down and up from town. Perfect for our short stay.

I have now stayed in a couple of House of Josef properties and it’s always a pleasure. Rachel is a fantastic host who cares about the confort of her guests. Highly recommended.
