So glad this PO still is there. I was a rep for a tobacco company back in the mid 1980’s and the couple who ran it were lovely and always offered a brew! I can’t for the life of me remember their names but the male had a beard and the lady was a red headed lady from memory nearly 40 years ago! Great news that the Heptonstall PO is still open and as friendly as ever.

Tony and the staff are wonderful. They go above and beyond and I can't praise them highly enough. It's a perfect little local shop with the added bonus of the post office which is invaluable for the financial resources as much as anything else. To be able to do my banking and then buy my bread and milk etc all without having to drive anywhere is priceless. I truly hope the shop/post office never close down.
