Old Town Post Office

A lovely little cafe. Very friendly staff and lovely cake and coffee. Nice seating area around the back. We visited for a coffee and a cake, but the shop looked very well stocked.

The cafe is a truly delightful place. It's friendly, charming, and in the perfect spot. There is outdoor and indoor seating. We came back while we were in the area for more scrummy sandwiches! They'll do any sandwich on gluten-free bread and they do have one or two other gf breakfast options (the yoghurt and granola was delicious). They are very mindful of allergies and restrictions which makes it a very pleasant and easy experience. Their egg mayo is to die for and the brownie was delectable. Their pricing is eminently reasonable. And the post office shop next door has everything you could want. Could not be more perfect!

We came to the Post Office twice to buy some produce and eat. The selection available was really good. The cafe menu excellent. We really enjoyed our breakfast on the first occasion and cake and tea the next time.

Was in the area with work colleagues carrying out local works today, where it has been absolutely scorching hot! Was lunch time and we wanted to find somewhere nice where we could sit and have some dinner. We turned up, there’s a small car park opposite, luckily there was a space for me. Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and a can of apple cawstons, was absolutely lovely fresh local think they make their own bread or get it from a bakery locally. Was nice and cool and even had water available on a shelf should you want some, perfect in this weather taking care of people. They also accept card which was a bonus! Thanks will definitely come again!
