Heckmondwike Post Office

Very poor customer service staff I dealt with not adequately trained was unable to read English information I showed her very sarcastic and unhelpful and in my opinion predudist I produced necessary documents to tax my vehicle and she refused the staff in this post office are not fit for purpose and should not be allowed to work in a public service post office discracefull

Very poor! The worst PO customer service in the local area. Staff (one or two in particular) are often rude, disrespectful, miserable or chatting to a colleague or are looking at their phones. Meanwhile a tiny queue waits and waits and waits… so frustrating… they also seem so slow compared to other POs. And this has happened atleast three times so is it not a one off. Once waited easily 5 mins (just to put some money on my card,) with one person in front of me and one person serving. Meanwhile one girl was in the office, the other girl next to her was chatting to the person serving and wrapping a parcel up, no thought to break off and serve me? Mindfulness. By the look of it there are several other similar reviews on the same lines here. And we are all going somewhere else by the sound of it, this place is a last resort. And even worse, been like this for months, maybe a year, where they seem to be doing little to NOTHING about it? Unbelievable.

Absolute disgusting customer service, came in at 4.58 and was told to leave, I mentioned there was still two minutes all I needed to do was post a parcel, she then said it’s 5.00 on my clock and made me leave, horrible attitude and was smirking the whole time

Always helpful and friendly.nothing too much trouble ..Will always sort out a problem...highly recommend this post office

REVIEW "I've had two disappointing experiences at this post office. On my first visit, I realized shortly after sending a parcel that I had written the incorrect address. My husband arrived within 30 minutes to correct it. While one staff member was helpful, another, tammy was unnecessarily rude, falsely claiming the parcel had already been dispatched. In reality, another staff member was able to retrieve the parcel immediately to correct the address. Today, I returned to send another parcel, and wanting to be certain of the details, I went back inside shortly after sending it to double-check the address. A staff member who was already assisting me when the same woman tammy interjected, insisting I wait in the queue, despite the fact that her colleague was already handling my request. I'm genuinely puzzled how this post office maintains its operation with such consistently poor customer service from this particular employee. A serious review of her customer service skills is needed. Tarnishing post office reputation. "I must specifically call out the employee, ***Tammy Tanveer*** , whose behavior has been consistently unprofessional. She frequently interferes with other employees' customer interactions, is exceedingly rude, and demonstrates a clear lack of respect for the customers she is meant to serve. Her actions are, without a doubt, damaging the reputation of this post office and its ability to provide quality service."
