Go in here before going to football. Lager always running out or they not even got it. Very little seating. Dark inside. Decided to find somewhere else.
New owners who can be very rude to patrons. Beer prices are affordable but no atmosphere in there. Have seen one or two people under the age of 50 in there but generally full of old, bitter men who dislike anyone who isn't an old, bitter man!
My opinion is slightly biased as it's my local and takes 30 seconds to get to the place from where I live. Great pool table and some good people go in too, it is a united pub so dont go in wearing any Wednesday colors lol
Good lay out but staff are very lapsy daisy on making drinks and change prices everytime you buy another round. Maybe need more training before busy days like match days.
Good place for locals and visitors for a few drinks before or after a meal. Live entertainment excellent. Friendly and welcoming land lady and staff. Its a great pint and very clean toilets.
