I had placed chicken biryani order at 10:53 the order came to me 11:21 almost food received after 30minutes ,even kitchen team was not aware they got briyani order ,front counter team crew went inside kitchen than they started to make order. When I received chicken biryani first it was not look like chicken biryani (there was nothing authenticity of biryani) They made from fried rice and puted chunks of chicken and big chunk of tomato 🍅 who put tomato 🍅 in chicken biryani and they served with vegetables curry instead of sauce or salan . After 30mints when I received and start to eat ,found they puted too much salt and called manager ,offered him to test or eat ,he found same issue. They already ruined 30mints due to delay after eating some spoons ruined my taste and experience. Than Manger took chicken biryani and take it back , and brought new cooked after 10-12 mints .totally I spent 45mints in their restaurant just for portion of biryani instead of this I can make at home in same time . Even I didn’t able to eat new cooked biryani because they did not change and same issue found (it’s food scam) When I checked their restaurant google rating it was 2.7 🌟 which is very poor than i realised I made wrong decision to order biryani from chinos. Google rating is alarming for you before shutdown ur business. Please improve ur quality and staff training.. I think ur biryani is most expensive in whole sheffield. I’m biryani lover and also it is learning for me . Don’t go order in any restaurant before checking google ratings. Terrible food quality, too much oil and low quality ingredients, all food leaves terrible after taste lingering in the mouth for a long time. I also have some concerns about the hygenine of the kitchen as noticed from a casual glance while waiting where the cook used unwashed hands to place toppings on some pizza after using the broom. Will not be visiting them again. Only Pepsi was good.
Almost 3hours wait just to receive bad food and food poisoning . Avoid this place like the plague. I placed an order at 10:35pm on 9th January 2026 – just chicken, chips, and wedges, which shouldn’t take long to prepare. The order was scheduled to arrive between 11:20pm and 11:40pm, and Uber also showed it was on its way. By 11:45pm, nothing had arrived, so I called the takeaway. A woman said the driver had left and would be there shortly, but there was still no sign of it. I called again at 12:00am, and she told me to wait a few more minutes. When nothing arrived, I called once more at 12:20am and asked to cancel the order and get a refund. She passed the phone to the manager, who admitted the order hadn’t even been made and said he would prepare it immediately. I refused and asked for a refund as it was far too late, but he insisted it was now ready and would be sent out. The order finally arrived at 1:15am – it was a complete joke. The chicken was raw and uncooked, soggy and dripping with oil and water. The chips were also uncooked and greasy, and the wedges looked as if they had been taken from a bin. I had some and noe feeling sick and constantly and a victim of extreme food poisoning I complained to Uber, who apologized but said they couldn’t help, claiming they always side with the restaurant. This restaurant is terrible – please avoid it. The food is tasteless, it’s a total rip-off, that's £16.50 down the drain.
Absolutely terrible experience. I came here on Saturday with my wife and ordered food, but after arriving we saw multiple online reviews mentioning food poisoning. My wife was actually hospitalised last year due to food poisoning, so we immediately decided it wasn’t worth the risk and asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere. That’s where the nightmare started. They told us they couldn’t refund us because the manager “wasn’t in” and asked me to leave my bank details so the manager could process it later. They promised the money would be refunded on Saturday. It wasn’t. I called twice on Sunday — same excuse. I called again today — same excuse again. Still no refund, still no money, just empty promises every single time. This place is extremely dodgy. They take your money, delay refunds endlessly, and give you the runaround hoping you’ll give up. At this point it feels like they’ve outright stolen my money. Avoid this place at all costs. Unprofessional, dishonest, and completely untrustworthy. I will never be returning.
Utterly disgraceful and borderline fraudulent. Waited over an hour and a half for an order that they later lied about delivering. No knock. No call. No message. No food. Just a blatant false claim that it had arrived when it clearly hadn’t. When I phoned to sort it out, the staff were rude, confrontational, and completely unprofessional. They repeated the lie, refused to listen, then hung up on me like it was somehow my fault their driver never showed up. They then refused a refund for food that was never delivered. took the money, provided nothing, and washed their hands of it. This is not poor service, this is outright unacceptable behaviour. No accountability, no customer care, and no honesty. If you order from Chinos, be prepared to lose your money and your patience. Avoid this place completely. There are plenty of food businesses that actually deliver what you pay for .this is not one of them.
