Absolutely abysmal. They're supposed to have the shop open to customers until 11PM, they don't. Tonight I walked down arriving at 10:47PM, the shutters weren't down, but the door was locked. When I questioned this I was told they close the shutters at 11PM, but now lock the door at 10:45PM. There are definitely staff down there that don't like working as this has happened to me on several occasions. It's about time management took them to task as the staff seem to simply do as they please.

I've been a regular here since they started selling Esso as I only use Esso Supreme E5. The franchise is held by Rontec, who are always better value (price and the standard of the site) than EG or MFG the other major chains. Only Tesco Express Esso stations are generally cheaper but for me the extra mileage to reach one (Fulwood Road, Sheffield or Newbold Road, Chesterfield) outweighs the 1 or 2 ppl saving! Plus the Chesterfield Road staff are always pleasant and helpful.

Ordered food shopping via Deliveroo. There was an issue with an item so I called up. The staff were unbelievably rude on the phone (two women), made out I wasn't telling the truth, and hung up the phone on me!!

Nice place to shop, even though its a petrol station shop they have most things in you may need, staff are polite.
