Uppergate Farm

Stayed in the Shepherds Hut for 2 nights. Fully equipped with everything you need. Farm shop on site is spot on too. Highly recommend staying here. So beautiful and peaceful. Went in hot tub early morning and was soon surrounded by wildlife inc rabbits squirrels and all types of birds.

This is our 3rd time to come to Uppergate Farm. It is so relaxing. The use of the pool is amazing. You get an allotted time, so it is never full. We have come here as a family for Christmas, the kids loved collecting the eggs, sorting size and putting them in boxes. We stayed in the yurt, which was amazing. The hot tub in both these places was an added bonus. I couldn't recommend it enough for a family to get away or a lovely, quiet weekend. And the local pub is very friendly , the food is amazing and very close . Steve and Alison are both lovely, not intrusive, but if you need them, you just ring them, and they can't be more helpful.

Just spent a relaxing two night break here. Clean and comfortable Shepard's hut and hot tub. Very clear that the host's are on hand if you need them but happy to leave you to it to do your own thing.

Just had a fantastic 2 nights at the Deanwood Safari tent with my boyfriend for his birthday. The owners were very welcoming and provided all the amenities that you need. Such a tranquil space with your own hot tub and fire pit/BBQ, all wood and logs are provided. Bed was very comfy, large space inside, the indoor log burner was lovely for the night when we had lots of rain. Plenty of wildlife roaming about on the farm, chickens/rabbits/birds and there's even fresh eggs for you to purchase on site. There's a swimming pool/sauna on site which we didn't try but looked lovely and also a games room for a bit of fun. Would 100% recommend and will be back.

Such a lovely place to stay, the shepherds hut is finished in a really lovely way, I loved the vintagey quilts! and equipped with everything you need, the hot tub and swimming pool were perfect and really relaxing!
