Fields of Fun

I use these fields regularly to let Billy have the freedom to run around . The fields are 100% secure and I am confident that he is safe without having to worry about off lead dogs running up to him out of nowhere, he is always on his lead as he can be reactive . Access is via two secure gates, the first one is into a parking space with the second one giving access to the three connected field which are clean and tidy with access to lots of doggy toys and fresh water. There is also a dog friendly shelter in case of rain or extreme heat. Highly recommended.

1st visit..Facts 1st..double gate security... first gate to carpark area leading to second gate for the fields. Perimeter fence more than adequate and well maintained, very clean grounds, didn't see any mess from previous users, nice little fresh water stream to hydrate and cool my dog. Beautiful views, nice surroundings and the most confident and comfortable I've been letting him off lead. Secondly...experience..my boy is ball mad as are most labs, well this field was like heaven to him, he found a ball every few steps, his tail never stopped wagging, he was like a kid given free range in a sweet shop. He's usually clingy to my side even off lead but here he was off, the abundance of balls was more exciting for him than the fear of leaving my side. After first 15 mins he was going the full length top to bottom without me, although did pop back to check I was still there then ran back off to play. He's 3yrs old and had ops and procedures monthly since he was 8 weeks old... this field gave me the confidence to drop the reigns now he's healthy enough to let him go enjoy himself like he deserves and he felt safe enough to go play and explore to his hearts content. He came home happy, exhausted and content and I came home feeling like I'd just given my kid his dream holiday. Definitely will be a regular, amazing set up, highly recommend.

We’ve visited a few private hire paddocks with our cocker. This was by far the biggest and the best. Totally secure. Amazing location and untold tennis balls around to add to the fun. Our boy did not stop running from the moment we let him off the lead. It’s quite uneven underfoot and a bit hilly so we got a bit of a workout following him around the field. Definitely going to take him back soon.

Unfortunately, this review is one I feel like I should write (even though I tried to resolve this amicably without the use of social media). We’ve used this field for quite a while, so do my family and friends. However this evening my father was out with us and lost his grandfather's ring 10 minutes before the end of the session. Our immediate reaction was to try and find it. I checked online to see if the field had been booked for the next hour, unfortunately couldn’t find anything, we kept an eye on the road to see if anyone appeared, no one arrived until 17:10. As soon as we saw someone my partner ran up to speak to the next customer, who immediately was short with my partner and shouted at her for wasting her time. We tried to explain, however she didn’t want anything to do with it. We then left at 17:15. My partner then called the owner to try and explain why we hadn’t left the field in time and to apologise. She was met by sheer rudeness, a complete lack of empathy and accused her of wasting the other customers' time (and having been 3 minutes late on 11th April, for which my partner apologised). This left my partner in floods of tears as she had been shouted at on the phone very aggressively by the owner. We were then told that we have been given a ban from ever using the field again. I tried to call the owner. She was the same with me, I tried to explain my side of the situation but she point blankly refused to listen. I am disgusted and angered by the owner's attitude and would never recommend anyone use their services.

Beautiful place. 2 big fields and a 3rd enclosure. Benches in lovely places.
