The Golden Ball is a Community Pub which means we have to put our profits back into the Community.

A long-standing favourite of the locals of Bishophill, we are nestled very near to the centre of York. We are a CAMRA Heritage pub, with a well-preserved Victorian interior, we serve a choice of guest beers every week, host lots of live music events and have a calendar of eclectic events, from Ukelele to Choir singing, and many things in between.

On Saturday’s, we sell beautiful artisan bread, baked by local baker The Blue Bird Bakery and we have one of the City’s best-kept secrets in our sunny beer garden.
