Arthur & Son Furniture Removers and Storage

Unfortunately Arthur & Son cancelled 10min before arranged time. Left us in a very difficult position, as we were moving house. A real shame as this company were recommended to us. I simply cannot recommend this company.

Just been robed by this company! £120 charged for travel time. Outbound journey was less than 6 miles, return journey 1.4miles. Verified journey times was 23mins and 7mins per journey. They charge £80 an hour for removal service. No issue with that, just the travel amount they claimed.

Pleasant guys, worked hard. Though only 1 man per van (2 vans) so it took 3hrs to pack a boxed up 3 bed house (plus loft) and similar to unpack the van. We were quoted a set price for the day over the phone then charged £80 more upon leaving as they had gone into 'overtime'. No mention of time limits when I called to enquire about services. Will remember to get quotes in writing in future. Still cheaper than other removals firms I called though.

Great service moving an old and heavy piano today. The exit route to the van had tight bends and step-overs and the team did it with care. Thank you very much.

Arthur recently moved my mum. What a Star, him and his colleague saved the day. He went above and beyond for mum. He was quick, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend him.
