Crowne Plaza Harrogate by IHG

My partner and I stayed over new year and new years day 2 nights for the first time. What a brilliant 2 nights in Harrogate . The hotel and staff were lovely and in a fantastic location. Literally 6 minutes walk to the pubs and centre. Bar is very nice. Restaurant very good, food was good and plenty of variety. Special mentions to Kevan who was very proffesional and helpful aswell as locating and loaning a phone charger for the duration. Ali in the bar who was full of tips to enjoy our stay and made a fantastic cocktail( Hurricane) and especially Zarah, she was so helpful, and couldn't do enough for us. Her bubbly nature and knowledge made our stay a very memorable one for all the right reasons. Will definitely stay again. Paul and Tracey, Hull.

We stayed in a premium room at the Crowne Plaza Harrogate and had a great stay. The customer service was excellent — staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Overall, a well-run hotel in a great location and we’d happily stay again.

Overall the hotel is located well, just 5 minutes walk from the town centre. We were upgraded to a Superior King room, which came with lounge access, for a small fee. The staff were friendly and professional. The only bug bear is the lifts. 3 lifts just did not manage the number of guests. We kept getting missed on the 9th floor so walked down to reception with our bags on checkout. You also have to get a lift from Reception to car park, and it was taking an age. We walked around in the end, ignoring the 'bo pedestrian' entrance.

Lovely rooms and a great hotel overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was spot on — really set us up for the day. The only downside was the shower water pressure on the 10th floor, which was unfortunately very weak and let the experience down a bit. Otherwise, everything else was excellent and I’d happily stay again once that’s sorted!

I had an exceptional stay at Crowne Plaza Harrogate. Spotless rooms – everything was very clean and well-maintained, making for a very comfortable stay. Lounge – the food and drink selection was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, even when it was busy. Overall staff friendliness – from reception to breakfast to the lounge, everyone was welcoming and professional, going out of their way to ensure a great experience, even during a busy New Year’s Eve. Highly recommend this hotel – it really made my stay special.
