Great hotel. Food fantastic. Location fabulous. Room really good, especially having the ironing equipment, hair dryer fan heater , tea and coffee in the room extra bedding if needed (it wasn't). Great bar. Saving the best till last the staff are absolutely 10 out of 10. Loved it and can highly recommend it π.
Business plus Xmas shop trip rolled into one . After some hiccup over parking spots finally got sorted and checked in , nice room 503 top floor great views of city , lovely warm clean hotel and the location was brilliant... Shower πΏ in our room was very weak and poor obviously a fault , didn't report complaint as only their for 1 night only and left at 10@m .... Didn't try the breakfast or food although it looked excellent in the pickle sprout on site restaurant and it was packed with dinners so must be good π.. Will definitely be returning hopefully longer visit nextime and will be dinning in the pickle sprout for sure ... Lovely old school traditional hotel ...π
Stayed here for 2 days midweek. Had a corner view room which had great views on 2 sides. Hotel is central for all shops and just opposite Betty's. Parking is available but spaces are limited. The bathroom was modern and the room fine. The only niggle was that the electric radiator was too small to give any warmth to the room. Fortunately there was a fan heater in the wardrobe which did the job. Breakfast was good on both day and dinner in the Pickled Sprout was excellent on both nights.
Stayed here for two nights and the hotel as a whole was lovely. The decor felt very premium, and the room itself was large and had all the amenities needed, such as a TV, an iron and ironing board, and also a hair dryer. The staff I spoke to on the desk were lovely and very accommodating. We didn't get to try the food here, as we went out and ate in restaurants, but they have a good selection of drinks available. βMy only negatives here were that the parking is expensive and very limited, so we ended up parking in the multi-story down the road and walked up. The multi-story is 24-hour parking, but it is closed over night. Additionally, our room was towards the rear of the building, and so we got a lot of noise from the street, as well as the bin collection on the Saturday morning. βOverall, a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere, just with limited parking.
Fantastic hotel and decor was wonderful. Group of 8 ladies. Foynd bar a bit pricey but lots of bars and resturants nearby. Great blues bsr opposite with live music. Bottle of wine in Wetherspoons winter gardens less that hotel vodka and coke. Everywhere spotless, we all loved the hotel, great breakfast with lots of choice.
