Wow, this lady postmistress needs a training course in customer care urgently! Stood behind an elderly woman who got a little confused - no smile, no helping hand, no nothing. She needs to speak clearly and directly and think about what customer support skills she could use to help in these circumstances. Bordered on rude!
Never dealt with anyone ruder, more ignorant or unfriendly. Wherever you go in Hornsea, people wish you good morning/afternoon etc. Everyone is super friendly and helpful but the woman in this shop obviously didn't receive the customer service memo !! I'm not usually bothered and continue to use shops even if staff aren't that good but shall find somewhere else to collect my Amazon parcels from in future. Awful 😖

This post office, and staff are simply the best. No matter what you need help with, even if it's over the phone they will help you.
Please be aware that there has been no petrol garage in Hornsea for a few years now. Jordan's Garage closed. This site is now pulled down awaiting new development. The nearest petrol station is on the Seaton Road, but there is a possibility of a Petrol station arriving with the new Tesco store on Rolston Road in 2010
