The main reason for the rating is the beer selection - a brilliant cross section of the Kirkstall range including core beers and special brews as well as a host of guest keg and cask beers and some great bottled/canned options as well, including Mash Gang alcohol free beers. I didn't eat, so can't rate the food, and the environment is a little too on the gastropub end of things for my liking, but as I said, the beer selection is great. I think I was served by a newer member of staff so I won't comment on service - I know what it takes to train people and get them up to scratch!

Great beer selection, well kept. The food let the side down. I had a lamb biryani with a least a triple portion of rice and only 6-7 small pieces of lamb - flavour was excellent but the overall dish was mean.

Kitchen staff is getting 5 star from us , because the food was made with love. Bar staff getting 5 star from us because the lady who took our order and the gentleman behind the bar was very friendly . The lady who has brought our food to our table , she was not very professional like others. She has served the food , didn’t tell us what fish was which one even though I have told her it was our first time . After she has served she has never checked if we were happy with everything . When we have come to pay at the she has asked of everything was ok but we believe that’s very late to ask . Over all we have enjoyed , specially the food was amazing !!! We will be back.

What a great place! Friendly helpful and happy staff! Brilliant range of Indian foods in a tapas style: delicious, good portions and very very tasty / good flavours! Great pint of Guinness topped it off.Highly recommended and will go again.

Can't get a table if you just want a drink. No where to stand. A brewery that charges £5 plus a pint for their own beer! The place was rammed but only serves curry or a packet of nuts. Wish it luck but won't be a regular.
