Had a great experience choosing our new car at Perrys Huddersfield. James explained all the aspects of the car and purchasing process. We were able to have a lengthy trial run and on collection he explained all controls and he made a follow up telephone call. On the whole a very good experience and big thank you to James, would highly recommend.
Fantastic service at Perrys Huddersfield! Millie was absolutely brilliant — friendly, professional, and made everything so easy from start to finish. My car repair was handled quickly and efficiently, and the communication throughout was excellent. Would definitely recommend Perrys Huddersfield and especially Millie for outstanding customer service.
Women drivers beware!!! I bought a used second hand Fiat 500 and part exchanged my car on July 7th 2025 and I am absolutely appalled at the the way I have been treated at Perrys by sales staff and the management. I returned the car the following week as white smoke was coming out of the exhaust not just on one occasion but on several occasions. This was witnessed by a police car who was directly behind me . Perrys took the car in and gave me a courtesy car . The courtesy car given was automatic and electric which I wasn’t happy with. Two days later the electric car blew a tyre and both myself and AA returned the courtesy car leaving me with no car as my car still hadn’t been repaired. I lost a full days salary. What I’d like to know is why on earth give an electric car to a woman driver with less than 100 miles charge? I do over 200 miles in weekend due to my job. Where am I meant to find a fast charging point in Halifax? I checked and the closest was Dean Clough and Sainsbury’s. The charge time indicated was 7 hours and 20 minutes!!! No fast charging and at this point I was panicking as I needed the car charged for the weekend. Totally impractical and I don't know why they thought that giving me an electric vehicle would help when I said it wasn’t a good idea. They said it’s all they had available. Lack of thought and understanding and if it had been petrol I wouldn’t have had an issue, even with a flat tyre! I ended having to hire a car for 4 days until my car was “fixed”! On returning to Perrys to collect my fixed car they told me they couldn’t find anything wrong with the car and was told it was my driving by staff! I have driven all over Europe and lived in Italy for several years. They couldn’t find no fault on the car, it had been tested and driven by staff . Nobody rang from service department to let me know what was happening. All I was told it was ready to collect. I drove the Fiat back home and the following morning set off for work with gusts of white smoke coming from my exhaust! I decided to get a second opinion and took the car to my brother’s garage. On opening the bonnet the mechanics discovered that there was no oil in the car and air filter had snapped off! This was within the first 5 minutes of checking. I rung Perry's who advised me to bring the car back. £250 out of pocket later for oil , check and service I returned the car! Before returning the car I contacted the manager to tell him I was wanting a full refund and the car was dangerous and anyone getting in the car was also at risk. I returned the car to the dealership only to be kept waiting over an hour and then nobody came to speak to me. Staff knew we were there and I’d requested to speak to another manager if the manager who was dealing with me wasn’t available. Nothing! By this point I was having trouble finding anyone to help the manager showed up saying “ I thought you’d gone”! Well we hadn’t moved from the foyer for over an hour and staff knew we were there including the sales staff who sold me the car! I have written to the head office as this experience was not the what I was expecting. I have never been treated like this before and expected a very high level of customer service which I can say was not acceptable. Misogynistic, rude, disrespectful and totally lacking empathy towards customers who expected better. Never again!! Perrys managed to in 3 weeks to make me lose pay, time, and money. My mental health is a shambles! I await a response from head office.
I don't normally post a review but I just wanted to write this simply to say that I cannot remember the last time I had such good customer service. I have a VW Tiguan, And it required somebody work and I took it in and a young gentleman by the name of Isaac worked on it for me. He was amazing. Thank you Isaac for the fantastic job that you've done I'm very very grateful.
Top quality centre. Excellent showroom and salespeople. Very helpful when buying a type of vehicle I'd never even driven before. Test drive was safe, informative and helped me make up my mind. Lots of guidance and support through the whole process of purchase and exchanging my old car. Could not have been happier.
