I left the car with them on Monday after they had diagnosed the coolant was leaking from the water pump. They quoted £339 fitted with new pump and coolant. I was told it would be ready the next day. The next day I had a phone call to say the wrong part had been sent and the car wouldn't be ready till the next day. On Wednesday I rang to ask what was the progress. Still waiting for the part I was told. On Thursday I rang to find the car still not ready. On Friday morning I rang to be told it still wasn't ready. Later that morning I visited the garage to collect some belongings from the car. It was up on the ramp, and was told it wasn't the water pump, it was two leaking pipes and the wrong pipes had been sent. I said I really needed the car by Saturday at the latest, and what was the new quote, and was told he couldn't say. Later on Friday afternoon I got a call to say it was ready. When I collected the car I was told the cost was £280 and given an invoice which included £41.67 for anti-freeze, 41.67 for hose pipes, and three hours,YES, three hours labour cost at £50 and hour. Why I didn't question this I'll never know! Three hours to change two hose pipes!! And five days waiting for it to be done!!! Dreadful service and extremely costly.
AVOID, WASTE OF TIME. Set off from home, Brought car down for tracking as per instruction from themselves stating availability. I began walking home they had the car all of 20 mins I saw them drive it around for them to call me asking me to come get it and bring tomorrow at 10am… I waste of time. Or incompetent as it’s 4pm and closing isn’t for another 2 hours. Mean to tell me a garage can’t do tracking within 2 hours? No attempt to rectify the problem or cover me for time wasted. Won’t be coming back here recommend everyone else to stay away. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Had issues with my a/c and multiple other garages wouldn't even look at it. Took it here and was seen straight away, the guy tested it and looked straight at it advising me of the issue. I got a qoute for the part which was £270 but they were able to source the part cheaper. All ordered and fixed the day after. Lady working behind the desk was very professional and friendly.
Extremely disappointing and unprofessional service. Avoid this garage at all costs. We brought our car in due to an oil pressure fault, and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. The staff diagnosed a faulty oil pressure switch and ordered the part without our consent, despite us repeatedly asking for a quote and estimated time — questions they ignored entirely. We were left sitting there for over 4 hours, only to be told the switch replacement (which cost us £50) didn’t solve the issue. They then claimed the engine oil had “gone bad” and tried to charge us £120 for an oil change, which seemed suspicious. We declined and took the car to another garage. Turns out, there was NO OIL in the engine at all — something the first garage completely missed or ignored. The second garage kindly filled the oil for just £30(giving us a entire gallon of engine oil), and the issue was resolved instantly. To make matters worse, the top rear brake light they replaced just a month earlier was already broken. They insisted the whole unit needed replacement and quoted £150, again pressuring us to order it immediately. We declined. The second garage fixed that light with glue and a new bulb for £5 — total cost for everything was just £35. 1 stop Auto centre showed zero transparency, poor communication, and seemed more interested in pushing expensive, unnecessary work than actually fixing the problem. (I even saw some employees using ChatGPT and finding solutions to some problems other car owners had) They took our money without solving anything and left us worse off than when we arrived. We felt taken advantage of and disrespected the entire time. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else.
