Head Honchos Barbershop

Being new to the area I was struggling to find a decent barber for a beard trim and shape (at a reasonable price). I then literally stumbled on Head Honchos - slightly hidden down an arcade. I could tell by the shop decor it had promise. I booked in with Alex and wasn’t disappointed. He’s extremely skilled at his trade and pays close attention to detail - something often lacking in other barbers. I can highly recommend and will definitely be back!! Thanks guys!

I’ve gone here for 4 years now and they’ve always been amazing. Everyone there is great and always been so happy with my cuts! Nice atmosphere and I feel really comfortable there as a woman which can usually be a bit daunting at barbers!

Having a hidden disability means leaving the house is extremely difficult for me. The guys at head honchos are amazing and tailor my appointments to suit me as i may need to cancel last minute.I treat myself to the full works with Nick which is a full cut and steam shave and every time I leave i feel like a new man. 1st time I went I was very impressed. 2nd time I went they made a total hash of my undercut. 3rd time I went I saw a different barber who couldn't believe what his colleague had done to my hair. He apologised, and offered me 2 options, either raise the undercut, or let it grow and wear my hair down for the forseeable future, until its the right length again. I dont like wearing it down, and the whole point of the undercut was so it looks good when tied back. I wanted the undercut to tie it back, and my working environment means long hair has to be tied back. Raising the undercut would have made it too high. So neither of the above were an option. So I'm making do with tieing it back, and getting comments like; 'Who on earth did that to your hair?!' (See photo) Although he was very apologetic, no real effort was made to rectify the sitution. At the very least I would have expected a free haircut. A better solution would have been to cut it for free until it grows back, (which is gonna take about a year.) After all it was their mistake, which they should be prepared to carry the can for, until it's back to how it should look. I gave you the opportunity to rectify the situation, and you failed miserably. Shame on you Head Honchos!!!!!

Booked in for a scissor cut and not your normal clipper cut. Firstly, george was friendly and very professional. He cut my hair superbly and talked to me through everything he did. He was happy to recommend different ideas,which worked perfectly. I would highly recommend george and will be booking back in with him in the near future.Thanks George
