I would like to start by saying this review is not directed toward the reception team, who have been extremely helpful whenever I have been in contact with them. As an NHS professional of nearly ten years, I have found some of this surgery's actions quite disturbing. I will not go into the character of the practice manager, as there are already many accurate reviews below. What I will say, however, is that she has absolutely no place being anywhere near healthcare. She was caught on a recorded call fabricating NHS policies to justify discriminatory actions, becoming confrontational, and interrogating a carer for no reason while laughing and mocking her. The recording was forwarded to the head doctors for a fair investigation. However, they tried to justify her every action. They claimed that laughing over the phone is "de-escalatory"—a notion which is absolutely mind-boggling. Given the many similar reviews regarding the poor handling (or lack thereof) of complaints, I would like to outline the steps you can take if you are unsatisfied with the surgery's response: 1. Request Recordings: All calls are recorded. You are legally entitled to request a copy through a Subject Access Request (SAR). Do not accept being spoken to like a second-class citizen. Question every NHS policy the manager cites and research them yourself. 2. Escalate Your Complaint: Once you have received a final response from the surgery, escalate your complaint to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman. 3. Report to the GMC: Report the head doctor(s) who 'investigated' the complaint to the General Medical Council (GMC). They have a duty to resolve complaints with some integrity and objectivity, not blindly defend staff and enable behaviour that is detrimental to public health. 4. Protect Yourself: If you make a complaint, ensure you protect yourself. Log everything and request copies of all recordings and notes. If the manager is capable of creating a fake letter and backdating it to cover her tracks, one can only imagine what else she is capable of. I retain all evidence, including the voice recording and subsequent correspondence. I am prepared to share this information in the public interest, pending the surgery's consent.

Excellent Practice! Prompt and courteous service. Arranged Blood Test at convenient time. Seen promptly and results (checked by GP) were available via online app the very next day. Very efficient and effective surgery!
