Travelodge Huddersfield

Clean, comfortable and inexpensive. Staff frendly. Comfortable bed with small ensuite bath room. Only negative were the tiny squares of toilet paper? Must be the cheapest rolls available. Lifts to all floors. We booked end of corridor away from lifts. Staff friendly, 24hr reception. There is a general convinience store at ground level open 6.00am to 9.00pm. Free onsite parking. Opposite a Costa coffee shop and a pub the serves food and drink.

Good travel lodge in fairness clean telly's bit small shower ventilation is non existent it has more than you'd get at a premier plus room at a ¼ the price hot chocolate coffee machine even a kit kat! Lost a star for tv size.

Everything was as good as you could want from a travelodge. The room seemed clean, the location was good. The downside was one of the staff seemed really moody. There was a complication when booking in and I suppose the computer was taking longer than usual. When I asked if it's taking longer than usual, the person on the desk explained why but then added "Is that ok?" and the whole tone of the explanation seemed pretty aggressive, I felt like I was being told off just for asking. It's only a minor thing but it stuck in my head the rest of the time there, thinking what was that all about.

On arrival Kerry who was on duty at reception made us very welcome told us what we needed to know about our stay , Our room was very well presented clean and fresh smelling with towels provided. All in all a very positive experience and would definitely recommend and we would return to this Travel Lodge if visiting Huddersfield again. As there is a fantastic pub called the Yorkshire rose right next to the hotel.

Always lovely staff in here. Vending machine and a shop next door. Needed glue for a broken shoe and bought some snacks. Great convenience 🏃‍♀️💐🏡🧸🍚
