Nice walk from the bus stop on Beacon Hill road, up the hill track, along the top and back to the bus stop. Had not realised that it was such a short walk. 1.65 km. But, at least I got out and got my "fresh air". Lovely area at the top to sit contemplating life and the search for happiness. You could probably have a nice little picnic during the one summer day that we get each year.

The view are fantastic but it’s one eck of a climb but worth it for the views the reward at the top is bliss but on a windy day you might get blown away. A nice seating open area at the top for a picnic or just to grab a breather n relax the views cover all of Halifax plus the old beacon stands the test of time on the top of the hill.

Nice picturesque walk to the top where you are then greeted with a great panoramic view of the town Various routes to the top some more challenging than others. LHS route was steeper and path rocky compared to the normal route going off the RHS
