Unfortunatly, I have no photos of the legends of steam. Only spoken history of Prestons of Potto and Fred Dibnah. If you get a chance to visit at the Stokesley or Pickering Stem Fair ...Go.I have heard at the main office of Prestons of Potto they have a museum..But so far no invite...Love to go..
Parked up outside my house with a huge trailer on the back engine running all night, housing development behind my location, spoke to driver explaining there is a stipulation that no work between 9am and 6 His attitude was tough it's a public highway and I'll be unloading at 7am Plenty of laybys a couple of miles away , but instead he chose to park in a quiet residential dead end. .. This is the kind of ignorant drivers they employ, Really good for there reputation.
Shocking driver on the road. Flashing my partner as he was driving in the right hand lane driving the 50mph limit. Truck behind him flashing and intimidating him to go faster. My partner couldn't move to the left either as there was a truck opposite! We have 2 kids in the car including a 5 month BABY!!!! It's raining and wet too. Then the truck driver went to the left side and as he went past he did a hand gesture to my partner in the car while my 4 year old was next to him and seen what he did. Disgusting man. Should check what your workers get up to on the roads !
I was driving along the A1 this morning (13/8/19) following one of your artics when suddenly It was wobbling onto the hard shoulder, when I overtook this artic the driver was holding the steering wheel with his left hand and fiddling with his phone (probably texting) with his right hand. I didn't get the reg number but he was bypassing wetherby on the A1 around 8.15 am, on the triaxle trailer he had three or four big blue drums on. Unacceptable.
Bad driver tail gating me on A19. No number plate on trailer.
