The Secret Drawer - Ilkley

After numerous false starts with other bathroom designers/plumbers/cabinet makers - many of whom couldn't be bothered to even return a phone call - The Secret Drawer has been a breath of fresh air. The company is clearly hungry for business and gets the basics right: returns calls, delivers what they say they will and when they say they will. And this says nothing of the actual job we asked them to do: turn a pretty bleak and inhospitable wedge of loft space into a shower room. From start to finish, our interaction with everyone at The Secret Drawer has been beyond reproach. It is almost inconceivable to say so, but it was strange when the job was done not to have the craftsmen wondering through the house to get upstairs. To a man, they were all polite, friendly, engaging and clearly passionate about what they do. As a collective, it shows. The quality of the finished shower room is "showroom". The finishing touches are perfect. No detail left unfinished. We swallowed hard at the prospect of spending what we did on this shower room - but we have no regrets. If you want uncompromising quality delivered by a team of high calibre professionals who are just a lovely bunch of people - this is where you go. Hats off to Andrew, Daz, Cloggie, Dave, Andy, John, other John, Rebecca, Katie, Lisa, Joan, Fiona and (no doubt) others I've forgotten.

We purchased our self standing kitchen island from secret-drawer and received them in April this year. My husband and I are delighted with the furniture both functionality and design. Louise Bromley was our designer and she was marvellous with her ideas and timely with our delivery. My reviews are normally a few months out after the “new”wares off. The kitchen island has truly become the centrepiece of our kitchen. Any new furniture additions will be with the Secret Drawer in likely with Louise.

We are decorating several rooms and each time we visit the Ilkley showroom, Caz (or Cath?) really looks after us. She helped me choose the colours as I wasnt sure what I wanted and our rooms look fantastic. Highly recommended.

Our kitchen was fitted almost 10 years ago - we still love it! The ongoing care and service by Secret Drawer has been brilliant over the whole 10 years, would whole heartedly recommend.

Brilliant shop and staff, always helpful and knowledgeable. Fantastic kitchen makers and fitters as well as supplying paints etc.
