Was greeted as we entered Ilkley store, I was looking for dressy top for an occasion & looked round at a few . Young lady assistant asked if I was looking for something in particular . I explained the style I required & showed photo of skirt colour. She was exceptionally helpful & patient, gathering a few tops to try on. She actually picked out something I hadn’t looked at & was unsure about, but it really was just right. Very pleased with purchase & helpful, friendly, patient & understanding attitude of the young lady. Highly recommend.

I was looking at knitwear, the assistant was very helpful, making suggestions and bringing me different items to the changing room. She helped me make my final decision, and I’m very pleased with my purchase.

A few times when I’ve been in this store there is absolutely no hello ever. I’m looked at so they’re aware I’m there and just nothing the staff are always talking between themselves. Happened yet again yesterday then on my way out a lady walked in and she was acknowledged with a hello. It’s absolutely disgusting and other stores are so much friendlier. This attitude doesn’t belong in lovely Ilkley. It’s Whistles, not Hermes.
