I can’t say enough wonderful things about this small, family-run jewelry shop. I’ve purchased jewellery here before, which has been absolutely beautiful and crafted with care. Beyond purchases, I’ve also had rings cleaned and rhodium plated, and the results were flawless—my jewellery came back looking brand new. What truly sets this shop apart, though, is the people. They are kind, honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about their customers. You never feel rushed or pressured—only welcomed and valued. It’s clear they take great pride in their work and in the relationships they build with their clients. If you’re looking for quality craftsmanship, fair pricing, and truly wonderful people who stand behind their work, this is the place to go. A rare gem of a business that I’ll continue to support and recommend to everyone I know.

I attended seeking advice on my wife’s ring that was beyond repair but had immense sentimental value. The service I received from start to finish was absolutely FANTASTIC! Their knowledge and expertise is second to none. I had the ring completely remade as a Christmas suprise for my wife and she was over the moon with the results !! I cannot recommend them highly enough and would not use anyone else!! Thankyou!!

Sadly I have to leave a bad review of this shop. I have brought 3 rings (1 twice) over the past year since moving to Ilkley and until recently I have had nothing but a good experience. This recent visit however was awful. I brought in my engagment ring to be fixed (this is the second time I have brought it in. The first time was to be resized and fix a claw and replace one of the diamonds). This time, another claw had broken and another small diamond had fallen. It is a vintage heirloom ring, with great sentimental value, so I am not interested in having it re designed or re worked. To add, it hasn't been fixed or worked on since it came into our possession, so naturally the ring needed a little MOT and servicing. Hence why it has needed to come in twice in 6 months. When I brought it in a week ago and asked for it to be fixed, I was greeted by a blonde lady who worked on it the first time. She said that she had seen it before, I clarified it was a different area that needed fixing. She said it was (and I quote), 'too dainty', the metal was too soft and that we should look at getting it re-designed. I have no issues in people trying to sell other aspects of their business, I am self employed myself. I asked about what it is she would recommend, to which she said that they would use either a 16k or platinum metal and would re set it. I asked if this would make it 'thicker' she said yes. I do not want this. Not everyone wants thicker rings. I love my ring, it is dainty and absolutely perfect for me. I simply asked if it could be fixed, and she clarified that it would keep needing to be fixed. I honestly don't care. I do not want this ring to be changed, end of. We had actually been thinking about using this jewellers for our wedding bands, the whole encounter put me off but I decided to see how it went upon collection. I am always happy to give second chances, and they have always done excellent work for me and are a local business. When I came to collect it I was greeted by the same lady, she had a fairly cold and dismissive tone but the shop was busy. I am normally greeted by a brunette young lady, she is much more friendly. The blonde woman stated 'we will not work on this again, the metal is too soft'. At the end of the day, I understand that businesses will work on what they like. And I can't and don't want to change their mind. But, since our encounter last week, I have visited some other jewellers and spoken to jewellers at wedding fayres (where I often work) and they were nothing but kind about my engagement ring and every single other person has said that, yes it will need fixing every now and then because it is vintage and the metal isn't 16k and above. But, that shouldn't matter. I showed them photos and prior encounters have happened before I took it in again to be fixed. They have also clarified that they would be able to mend the ring regardless and repetition wouldn't affect it. But I also understand that every business is different. I am deeply disappointed in my recent exchange and this is the first time since being engaged that I have encountered someone trying to make me feel 'ashamed' about my ring. It hasn't worked and it won't. As I said, this ring is perfect for me. And I would rather take it elsewhere and get it fixed every month, than get it redesigned. It wouldn't be the ring of my dreams anymore. I am using every month as an exaggeration of course! Such a shame, but I will be taking my future business elsewhere. My ring for context is a 9k white gold ring with a pink sapphire and small little diamonds.

I have been coming to these Jewellers for years.Without a shadow of doubt I would recommend them. They have created fabulous pieces for myself and my wife. If you are after a honest, extremely well priced, and bespoke pieces of jewellery then do not go elsewhere. They are very kind, patient and friendly. I have included a photo of my wedding ring which they made for me. I am so pleased the ring. Thank You.

Such a lovely independent business to work with! Jess designed and made my stunning engagement ring from old family jewellery making this a really sentimental piece for me. Along side this she made a copy of one of my mums rings to form round the engagement ring as my wedding band . Jess’ attention to detail is outstanding I really couldn’t recommend this talented young woman enough! Thankyou again x
