Church with 12th century origins, rebuilt in 1865 with ornate Norman style. Listed grade II. In a delightful location, access is from the grounds of Kilnwick Percy Hall, where there is parking, cafe and toilets. The church is locked and out of use, so its not normally possible to see inside. In the churchyard are two war graves to airmen killed in a training flight accident nearby.
Looking a little lost as part of the old estate which is quite wild in places. Only saw it from the outside but a handsome old church. A touch Norman if you ask me.
